With all the problems I have in mind making me stronger and with all the blessings I have so far leading me to be more appreciative, I think God deserves my sacrifice.
Honestly, In my twenty years of existence this was just the second "Bisita Iglesia" I have ever did so far. This journey helped me to realize that this world is not just about money and all the material things. In fact, it is how we live for a purpose and continue to be not just a man of substance, but, also of value. This journey enlightened me how blessed am I of having a body without sickness because I have seen a lot of people in churches who are in solitude because of the whatsoever-critical-illness they are fighting for. This walk woke me up, that all of the materials things we possessed are actually invaluable at some point. I don't want to act as such I am a perfect individual and actually, I am not comfortable speaking ( I mean writing this words ) and sharing this stuffs.
We trod the path all the way from Recto to Quiapo. I was really fascinated by people who walked long , very long just to get there, and take note, there were also young ones who participated in the said annual sacrifice. According to my friends, they came from provinces and it has been their way of showing their devotion (panata) every Semana Santa.
Gladly, there were kind-hearted people who are giving foods to those who came from provinces. This thing has really showed how caring Filipinos are with their fellows.
Merchants were scattered all over the places selling relics, goodies, tee shirts and etc.
Second Destination is San Sebastian Church
Since this church has a very wide space, I was given a chance to make a tumbling shot. Yipeee.!!!
There was also a group of men who asked me a favor to take a picture of them. Surprisingly, one of them then asked my Facebook account so they can tag themselves (huh?) and I just gave it right away. Maybe it was a good omen for me. I don't know :D
Third Destination is National Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus
Fourth Destination is Parokya ng Mahal na Birhen ng Loreto
Supposedly, we have another destination, but unfortunately the weather was not good that time, so we have just decided to take our lunch. We searched for a restaurant, but unfortunately, since it was Good Friday, most of the establishments were closed. So we decided to eat in a Fast food chain in which I have long been missing ahhahaha. Tarrararan Jollibee! (LOL)
All the way from my Maundy Thursday shift at work until Friday noon.. we were really very tired but feels like reinvigorated.
So hungry,:D
I ended up like literally finished drinking these 4 glasses of water and a glass of soda.
REALLY A GREAT EXPERIENCE..
